The Radiology Department at ELARABY Hospital provides the latest and most innovative services, the modern interventional techniques, in addition to regular and digital radiology equipment to perform all specialized examinations by a group of a highly experienced consultants.

X-RAY unit:

It comprises two digital units to perform all x-ray examinations where all images are automatically saved in the patient's medical file.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) unit:

The hospital has a 1.5 Tesla closed magnet which provides a superior image quality than other machines, The device is characterized also by bearing large weights.

CT scan unit:

A 128-section x-ray device is available to perform all CT scans on the whole body, including CT coronary angiography and all peripheral CT angiography.

Panoramic X-ray unit:

• To perform all x-ray examinations for the face and jaws.

Ultrasound unit:

• The unit contains 5 devices to perform all ultrasound and colored Doppler examinations.

Osteoporosis unit:

• Using the state-of-the-art equipment to assess bone density and osteoporosis.

• Moreover, the department has a mammogram unit for early detection of breast tumors.
