The Rehabilitation Center at ELARABY Hospital provides its treatment services to children with special needs by means of intensive physical therapy and its development to meet the needs of every child with any type of movement disabilities.

The Pediatric Physiotherapy Department treats the following cases:

• Cerebral palsy of all kinds, caused by lack of oxygen to bra before of cluding labour.

• Abnormal motor delay.

• Peripheral nerve injuries that affect movement.

• Motor disabilities of children with autism.

• Motor disabilities of children with Downey syndrome.

• Cases of wrenching during birth.

• Post-operative rehabilitation of children.

• Muscular dystrophy cases.

• Orthopedic deformities in children and those with amputation of one or both feet, using:

• The arachnoid device (Spider).

• Children's gym unit.

• Muscle elongation for a long period (Stretching)

• Treatment with elastomeric adhesives (Thqra band)

• Treatment using resistance tape dnab K Tap.

• superficial facial heating (Heat pad or wax).

• Different set of tools for balance and movement coordination (rubber balls)

• Electrostimulation, with some cases combined with various exercises.

• Walking aids (parallel device - folding walker).

• Balance and learning to stand device.

• It provides a medical rehabilitation service under the supervision of a consultant in physical medicine and rheumatism and works to provide the highest level of comprehensive medical rehabilitation services using an integrated approach in health care to serve the community by examining and fully evaluating the patient and following up the offered treatment service.

• The center aims to improve the functional ability of patients with congenital and acquired disabilities, in addition to raising awareness of patients and citizens in the

surrounding environment.
